About Still Her
Because while you are now a mother, you are still inherently, beautifully you.
Why Still Her Exists
In the rush of bringing a new child into the world, our culture often forgets to look after the person who just gave birth. While society focuses entirely on nursery designs, milestone checklists, and infant outfits, mothers are frequently left navigating profound hormonal shifts, physical healing, and emotional identity shifts in silence.
Still Her was founded to be an oasis of quiet, compassionate support. We reject "bounce back" culture and unrealistic standards. Instead, we advocate for realistic comfort, soothing physical recovery, and small, accessible moments of maternal self-care.
Our Editorial Principles
- No medical exaggeration: We discuss postpartum physical changes—such as telogen effluvium (postpartum hair loss), pelvic soreness, and nursing engorgement—using cautious, peer-supported language. We always encourage mothers to consult their trusted doctors, midwives, or IBCLC lactation specialists.
- Tested utility over trends: We do not recommend frivolous gadgets. Every item featured in our routines and guides has been selected for ergonomics, gentle materials, and genuine convenience during sleepless weeks.
- Transparency first: When we link to products, we are fully transparent about our participation in affiliate programs like Amazon Associates. Our recommendations are curated by our editorial team independently.
